Content Integration Suite Secures File Transfers

Secure and reliable file storage and transfers are the focus of the Q Gateway feature added to the latest version of the DataFlow Studio from Minneapolis-based MQSoftware (www.mqsoftware.com). DataFlow Studio is an application integration toolset, and the Q Gateway is among six integral components designed to enable the transport, transformation and orchestration of data for application integration.

The Q Gateway component is said to provide a secure and cost-effective way to exchange data between internal servers and external users and customers. The software provides centralized administration and management of all enterprise file transfers while providing assured delivery of files. Branch office and remote users can securely access this central server with their Web browser over a dial-up link, select the data they need and have it forwarded to their electronic inbox.

The DataFlow Studio is targeted at healthcare, insurance and financial organizations and government agencies that need to capitalize on broker and middleware technologies. An insurance company, as an example, could use the DataFlow and the Q Gateway to provide a secure, reliable means of exchanging claims information from individual clearing houses to healthcare providers.
