Work Flows for a California County
The County of Santa Cruz, CA, has chosen BizFlow 8 business process management software from
HandySoft, Vienna, VA (www.handysoft.com),
to manage its business processes.
The Santa Cruz County Assessor's office has joined many government agencies in using technology to
automate its processes and document management. BizFlow's platform will automate the county's
property assessment and tax collection management, application and permit processing, and the
procurement, HR and logistics functions.
BizFlow has a library of prebuilt government forms to speed the deployment of electronic form
submission and process automation. To ensure continuous improvement, BizFlow provides reports on how
efficiently processes are being executed so you can use built-in tools to refine process flows.
Santa Cruz County's system is being implemented by Appleby & Company, an information management
reseller based in Fresno, CA (www.applebyco.com).
