CM System Adds a Spot for Collaboration

PaperThin (www.paperthin.com), Duxbury, MA, has released CommonSpot Content Server 3.0, the latest release of the vendor's Web content management system. New features in version 3.0 include an improved administrator interface, integrated link management tools, expanded scheduling and report options, and an integrated collaboration tool.

CommonSpot 3.0 supports cascading style sheets said to give content creators a WYSIWYG view of their work. Business users can add content to a Web site and save and reuse the content for other applications. The collaboration tool now included with CommonSpot is FuseTalk, an online discussion group application from E-Zone, an Ottawa, Ontario company. The integration with CommonSpot lets companies turn online discussion group and user community comments into repurposeable content. The base price for PaperThin's CommonSpot 3.0 is $19,500 while an enterprise version is priced at $85,000.
