ExxonMobil Refines Its Asset Strategy
Petroleum giant ExxonMobil of Irving, TX, is taking charge of its innumerable, far-flung rich media
assets with the MediaPartner Enterprise digital asset management system from eMotion
(www.emotion.com), Vienna, VA.
MediaPartner Enterprise will help control the storage, delivery and usage of rich media files among
ExxonMobil's global communications teams. The company has operations in more than 200 countries.
ExxonMobil will use MediaPartner Enterprise to archive communications materials and corresponding
photographs, illustrations, video and sound clips. As the company's public affairs offices create
new materials, the content will be uploaded, cataloged and stored in MediaPartner Enterprise.
ExxonMobil and its authorized vendors can later download these assets from the digital library
with appropriate licensing rights so this content can be reused and repurposed in the development
of new material.
ExxonMobil hopes to streamline workflows between outside creative services and in-house creative
teams to reduce project development times. In addition, the system will support other business units
by providing access to rich media in support of presentations, tradeshows, speeches and other
activities where images and branding material are required.
