Health Care Provider Energizes Its Web Sites

Columbus, OH-based OhioHealth has selected Contenuity from Heathrow, FL-based Cytura (www.cytura.com) to power its Internet and Intranet Web sites. OhioHealth will use the Contenuity platform to ease management and delivery of information to more than 15,000 employees, 3,300 physicians and 4,000 hospital volunteers.

Contenuity will allow OhioHealth to rapidly deploy sites that distribute content across the various organizations it serves in 46 Ohio counties. The health care agency said it will use Contenuity's technology to provide portal access to core clinical applications across eight member hospitals and six affiliate hospitals.

Contenuity's personalization features will allow OhioHealth to provide customized information to physicians, nurses, administrators, managers, volunteers and patients based on need and their right to access critical business and clinical information.
