Standards Body Standardizes Content Contribution

IEEE, New York, one of the world's largest technical associations, has selected VIP Enterprise from Gauss (www.gaussinterprise.com), Irvine, CA, to help standardize the organization's global Web content technology.

Using VIP ContentManager, IEEE volunteers, staff and technical experts can now contribute content to the public, member and customer areas of the standards body's Web site. The association plans to integrate VIP ContentManager with its Autonomy, Epicentric Foundation Server and Netegrity SiteMinder applications. Gauss' J2EE-based architecture fosters this interoperability.

VIP ContentManager has already been installed at IEEE's data center in New Jersey, but is will also be installed at IEEE's California and Washington, D.C. locations to help support the association's publishing and Web operations.
