CARE International Enables Global Participation

CARE International, a global anti-poverty, nonprofit company, has streamlined Web site content contribution with the help of Interwoven (www.interwoven.com) of Sunnyvale, CA.

Headquartered in Brussels, CARE International is a confederation of 11 CARE organizations that operate in more than 60 countries. With such far-flung operations, the organization had thousands of would-be content contributors.

Prior to selecting Interwoven's Content Infrastructure, content contributors at CARE would use Microsoft Outlook or a network shared drive to share Word, PDF and Excel documents. Following content approval, the webmaster would submit the content to the site. Interwoven's technology has eliminated the contribution logjam and provided a way to share content across the enterprise.

Future plans call for CARE to use Interwoven workflows to accelerate content collaboration and approval, ensuring that appropriate people within the organization review content.
