Dakota Puts High-Performance Recognition Online
Dakota Imaging (www.dakotaimaging.com),
Columbia, MD, has released the Transform Voting Processor
S10, a network-attached OCR/ICR server for high-volume forms processing. The S10 uses neural net
voting technology that differentiates between hand print, machine print, and fill-in or check marks
in a single image pass. Multiple processors run in parallel, and adding up to eight processors in a
single system can enhance performance. According to Dakota, an eight-processor S10 can recognize
580,000 letter size images per day. Multiple S10s can be clustered for load balancing and failover.
S10 systems also come with multiple hot swappable power supplies.
