Hyland Extends Beyond its Home Base

Hyland Software, Rocky River, OH, announced at AIIM a battery of enhancements to its OnBase document management suite aimed at filling out a broad enterprise content management portfolio.

  • The OnBase Web Content Manager is designed to handle the entire life cycle of Web content, from creation and authorization to distribution and publishing. The system was developed internally, Hyland reports, and is reportedly fully integrated with the OnBase workflow and repository.
  • OnBase Mobile Forms is an HTML forms system designed to allow laptop and portable device users to complete business-critical forms while disconnected from the network. Once connected, the completed forms are uploaded to OnBase and synchronized with business processes.
  • An OnBase Outlook integration is said to enable simple ad hoc storage of e-mails and/or attachments to the OnBase repository as well as retrieval of archived documents.
  • OnBase Statement Designer is an enterprise report management enhancement that creates data-dynamic statements from data streams for print, fax or electronic distribution.
  • The OnBase Virtual Printer archives documents from any printable application directly into the OnBase repository.
