Banking Portal Drives Personalized Service
Improved access to content will bring improved customer service to
the 400 branches of Zions Bancorporation, a Salt Lake City-based
financial services firm. Zions has implemented the InfoExchange Portal
and One-To-One Publishing, both from BroadVision
(www.broadvision.com),
Redwood City, CA, to deliver up-to-date reference and policy materials
to employees in eight states.
The Zions portal will link the company's six affiliate banking groups
and make it possible to deliver personalized content based on which
affiliate employees serve, their locations and their roles within the
company. In the past, the Zions portal provided only targeted reference
and training materials. Launched in March, the new portal is expected to
speed response to client issues by extending access to even more
information. Loan personnel, for example, will have access to a
corporate credit policy manual with up-to-date information on policies
and procedures.
The initial roll-out of the portal will reach approximately 3,000
employees and access will
eventually expand to all 9,000 employees.
