Access to Content Improves Customer Service

GreatAmerica Leasing, Cedar Rapids, IA, has completed the implementation of an output and report management system from Cypress (www.cypressdelivers.com), Rochester Hills, MI. The system has forwarded the company's goal of moving toward paper-free operations.

GreatAmerica, an office equipment leasing company, needed a faster, more reliable method of distributing reports to its nationwide network of telephone and office equipment dealers.

"Since we pride ourselves on always providing live customer support, instead of automated attendants, it was vital our employees didn't need to leave their phones unattended to search for a file or document," stated Jim Burns, director of information technology.

Cypress captures documents and reports page by page, transforming content to common formats and archiving it in a virtual document repository where everything is readily searchable and accessible to GreatAmerica employees.
