Altec (www.altec-inc.com), Laguna Hills, CA, has announced the release of doc-route, a modular and scalable output management system that transforms and distributes documents, forms and reports to employees, vendors and customers based on their individual requirements. doc-route provides output management functions from any application by mining its print stream and then routing and distributing to recipients in the methods and formats of their choosing. The software can be used as a stand-alone product for enterprise applications or as the core output management software included in Altec's doc-link document management suite.
