Acenza Payables Version 2.0, released in January by FileNet (www.filenet.com), Costa Mesa, CA, is an upgraded, Web-based content management application designed to streamline the accounts payables approval process, allowing accounting staff to handle more invoices, faster and more accurately, so corporate cash flow can be managed more efficiently. The new version features a new user interface, and it is said to offer improved scalability for distributed enterprises, more extensive out-of-the-box functionality and business-user customizability for specific needs.

Invoices presented in paper, fax, electronic or Web formats are captured electronically, filed securely and routed for data entry and approval automatically. The solution enables status checks and payment approvals to be linked across the enterprise, as well as externally to authorized business partners and suppliers.
