Integration 'Authenticates' Documentum 4i Content

Waltham, MA-based Authentica (www.authentica.com) has announced a new version of their NetRecall Web content security software specifically designed for Document 4i Web Content Management Edition. NetRecall's integration into Documentum means that it can leverage the security policies users may have already built into their Documentum systems.

NetRecall encrypts content published to the Web, requiring users to install a special client plug-in to view the content. Without NetRecall, Documentum can only provide security and access control over content while it still resides within the Documentum repository. Since NetRecall security is contained within the content itself, it travels with the object as it is copied and transferred over the Internet to other Web servers or over email. NetRecall controls users ability to view, print and copy and paste, and it tracks users activity with content and will expire obsolete information as it ages.
