Clear, a London-based provider of electronic bill presentment and payment (EBPP) services in the United Kingdom, has licensed Whitehill XML Transport data transformation software from Whitehill Technologies (www.whitehilltechnologies.com), Moncton, New Brunswick, CA.

Clear allows U.K. banks and billers such as utility companies and mobile phone service providers, to present statements and bills online in one consolidated location. Whitehill's technology turns legacy data including Metacode into XML and then turns XML into dynamic content for delivery across multiple formats and platforms, including the Web.
