Content Management Flies at Korean Air

Korean Air, Seoul, Korea, one of the world's largest airlines, has selected VIP Enterprise from Gauss Interprise (www.gaussinterprise.com) Irvine, CA, to standardize its global Web content infrastructure. Korean Air wants to enable its business users on three continents to share resources and information.

Korean Air's Web sites — currently divided by region (the Americas, Korea and Japan) — each share common global content with some flexibility for local customization. The airline wants to centralize control of the various sites' look and feel while enabling regional marketing staffs to use familiar editing tools (and their own language) to publish local marketing content.

In addition to the three existing sites moving to VIP ContentManager, Korean Air plans to launch sites for Europe, Oceania and Hong Kong.
