Virgin Travelstore Chooses Rhythmyx
Virgin Travelstore, the travel agency business of London-based Virgin Group, has chosen Rhythmyx
content management software from Stoneham, MA-based Percussion
(www.percussion.com) to deploy the
company's intranet site. Using Rhythmyx, more than 200 Virgin Travelstore call-center operators will
have quick online access to all sales and marketing materials, which will decrease caller hold times
and daily call volumes.
Using Rhythmyx, Virgin Travelstore will be able to transfer all paper-based marketing materials -
newspaper and print advertisements, travel package brochures and internal memos - into digital files
accessible on the company's intranet site. Nontechnical Travelstore employees will use the system's
workflow to edit and publish content on the site without IT involvement. The system will free
call-center employees from manually searching folders filled with ads and fliers so they can handle
caller inquiries more efficiently.
