BroadVision Integrates Search Technology

BroadVision (www.broadvision.com), Redwood City, CA, announced in late August that it would integrate search engine technology from Inktomi with the Broadvision One-To-One Enterprise application server. The combination will allow Inktomi searches to access any enterprise applications, databases or repositories that are served by One-To-One Enterprise. The partnership also supports a 'Search Everywhere' initiative championed by Inktomi (www.inktomi.com), Foster City, CA, that promotes the idea of using search engines to locate content anywhere in an enterprise or on the Internet.
