Austrian Bank Pushes Access to the Extremes

Vienna-based Bank, Austria Creditanstalt Group has selected the Information Management suite from Hyperwave (www.hyperwave.com), Boston, to provide its employees with streamlined access to content on its Web site.

Bank Austria's more than 12,400 users scattered across 600 branches will be able to access 130,000 static HTML documents, images, graphics and PDF files. Users will also gain access to 1,850 comprehensive product descriptions and all in-bank processes and system documentation.

Hyperwave's push technology will reportedly ensure that employees receive only the information that is relevant to them. In addition, Bank Austria will be able to targets groups, each comprising 3,000 to 4,000 recipients, with a group-specific email newsletter that also has links to the intranet content.
