The Certified General Accountants of Ontario (CGA), a professional association headquartered in Toronto, has selected the Fulcrum KnowledgeServer search engine from Hummingbird (www.hummingbird.com), Toronto, to provide quicker, more systematic searches on its Web site.
Originally launched as a marketing tool, the association's Web site soon became an effective communications tool between staff, board members, CGAs and students. Now that the site is sustaining 55,000 hits per month, the organization realized it is a critical organizational resource for communication and collaboration. With Fulcrum Knowledge Server, the site now has the ability to support up to 250 simultaneous searches.
