'MyELVIS' Rocks Pharmaceutical Giant

Pharmaceutical giant Eli Lilly, Indianapolis, has launched a corporate portal built on software from Plumtree (www.plumtree.com), San Mateo, CA.

The Lilly corporate portal, known as myELVIS (for Eli Lilly Virtual Information Service) integrates taxonomy technology from Semio (www.semio.com), San Mateo, CA, to automate the categorization of documents, Web pages, messages and content from thousands of databases. Lilly's distributed sales, marketing, manufacturing and scientific communities can use the portal to access healthcare news, patent information, biomedical research and the results of clinical trials.
