Cooper Industries, a Houston-based manufacturer of tools, hardware and related electrical products, has selected the Xpedio content management system from IntraNet Solutions (www.intranetsolutions.com), Eden Prairie, MN, to implement its next-generation corporate intranet.
Using Xpedio, Cooper employees located at more than 100 facilities worldwide will be able to publish and collaborate on business content, including engineering drawings, spreadsheets and digital photographs, directly on the company's intranet.
The content will be managed and published in Web-based formats such as HTML, XML, PDF and WML. Integration with corporate security models ensures that users access only the information they are entitled to see.
