PDF Forms Design Update

Cardiff Software (www.cardiff.com), Vista, CA, announced in June the availability of its LiquidOffice e-form Management software (formerly LiquidForms). The software provides an XML-based system to create, publish and automate the workflow of Web forms based on Adobe's PDF format. The system allows forms and attachments submitted online to be routed for multiuser input and approvals with a variety of electronic signature technologies.

The Forms Designer component of LiquidOffice allows you to design and create forms with prebuilt drag-and-drop elements such as name and address blocks and drop-down menus. You can also apply calculations, lookups and business rules for data validation. The FormsServer component handles form routing and processing, as well as access to forms through secure logins. Support for HTML-based forms is planned for release in the fourth quarter.
