Phoenix-based Syntellect (www.syntellect.com) has released a new version of Vista IMR (Interactive Media Response), which supports speech recognition and voice-enabled interactions through the telephone and Web.
The new 3.8 version of the software has been enhanced with XML data formatting, HTTP retrieval from Web pages and enhanced speech recognition under Syntellect's VistaGen application development environment.
Vista IMR 3.8 also works with Java 2 to allow voice-enabled interactions and access to databases through back-end processes available from Syntellect's hosting services. These services allow data to be stored locally, centrally or in customer-supplied databases and statistical information to be merged with back-end applications.
